It's a good practice to do so before you connect the power from your Raspberry Pi to the LTE HAT and modem. This is a good time to insert the SIM card from your carrier. The M1 and D1 are antenna ports and the D2/G port is usually for GPS (if required). The u.FL cables will need to be attached in order to connect antennas later. There are two screws at the other end of the modem that will need to be secured as well. The modem should then be slid into the connector on top of the HAT, similarly to how an M.2 SSD connects. You will then want to ensure a snug fit by screwing it down onto the stand-offs. Next, with gentle pressure, place the HAT on to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO pins, making sure it lines up correctly. Compare the version number listed there to the version number on your "Software Update" screen, and you'll know for sure whether you have the latest version for your particular device.First, secure four stand-offs to the Raspberry Pi board. If all else fails, you can always see the latest release of iOS listed on Apple's support website under "Get the latest software updates from Apple." Those listings show compatible devices, too. Apple traditionally supports older iPhones with iOS updates for about five years before moving on.Īnother reason that you might not see an update is that when Apple releases new versions of iOS, it rolls them out by region over the course of about a day, so if you're anticipating a download but it hasn't shown up yet, check again later in the day. The most common reason is that you have an older iPhone and the latest update isn't compatible with your device. If you know that there's a newer version of iOS available, but you aren't seeing it when you check for updates, there could be a few reasons why.
